• Account data: name, email address, and authentication credentials (passwords are stored as hashes).
• Project content: datasets, analyses, figures, citations, manuscripts, uploaded files, and export outputs you create in the Service.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps needed to secure and operate the Service.
• Preferences: theme and cookie consent choices stored in your browser.

• Provide accounts, projects, and document editing features.
• Store and process Your Content so linked tables, figures, and citations can update as you work.
• Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and diagnose outages.
• Respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Your Content to train public AI models.

We may use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, and file storage) that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service and its users from fraud or security threats.

We keep account and project data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated project data by contacting support@inklyresearch.com. Some logs may be retained for a limited period for security and legal compliance.

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; protect your login and institutional data accordingly.
